Version française

Guy Lefebvre

Mandate

The Vice-Rectorate for International Affairs and the Francophonie oversees the Université de Montréal’s internationalization and the promotion of French as a language of teaching and research.

To increase the quality and value of universities activities, the Vice-Rector and his teams design and implement internationalization strategies for the Université de Montréal, including establishing international partnerships, supporting the internationalization of research and programs of study and enhancing the international experience for the entire university community.

Through their efforts, members of the Vice-Rectorate cultivate the francophone identity of Université de Montréal and promote it within the Francophonie and around the world.

They implement special structural and inter-faculty projects with foreign partners. By supporting the introduction and renewal of such partnership agreements, the Université de Montréal community takes part in international development.
